Help us maintain our park!

May 10, 2023

We are so fortunate to have a volunteer working hard to spruce up our park ahead of this upcoming season’s activities.  The improvement is amazing!  Our HOA depends on the contributions of neighbors to maintain our facilities and keep the park in a condition that is pleasing for everyone to enjoy. Please help out!  We’re calling for volunteers to clear litter from the park every other Sunday ahead of scheduled mowing crews.  We have two trash bins in the park.  Please clear your trash when visiting our park!

Thank you for your time and talents!

It’s wonderful to express gratitude to the people that volunteer to improve our common areas.  Our features would simply deteriorate without the generous contributions of these incredible volunteers.  Ray is cleaning and sanding wood park features to remove splinters, so that our amenities will be safer for all of us to use.  He plans to stain the pavilion this spring, so our park can remain aesthetically pleasing.  If you happen to see Ray, please let him know how much we appreciate him!

It’s a Process!!

Our pool has been cleaned and is being prepared for a bonding agent ahead of the plaster work.  The next step is to add tile in a manner that will comply with current code.  It’s quite a process, but the pool contractor is making good progress! 😎

Common Area Maintenance Began Today!

May 1, 2023

Mowing of our common areas began today!  In addition, our pavilion is being power washed by Ray!  Thank you so much!!  Please be mindful to clear your trash and keep our amenities clean when visiting our park.  We have trash receptacles right in the parking lot for you to use.  What we don’t have is maintenance crews that clear garbage and clean our amenities.  For years, that has been generously done by neighborhood volunteers.  Please pitch in!

Draining the pool for the resurface project has begun!

April 29, 2023

Every season prior to opening, our pool must be acid washed removing algae that grows under the protective tarp.  The harsh chemicals used for cleaning, as well as the chemicals necessary for public use throughout the summer, degrade the plaster surface.  For proper maintenance, the pool must be resurfaced every 6 to 8 years.  There are just a few plaster companies in OKC.  Their schedules book up quickly and their services are expensive.
